Giving Kids a chance to shine
FTF knows that the true value of the arts in a child's life can't be measured with money. The lasting benefits academically, socially, and emotionally of participation in and exposure to the performing arts is scientifically proven. But some children - even here in our area- cannot afford or get access to these opportunities. FTF is actively working to sponsor deserving children from right here in Middle Tennessee who have all of the drive, talent, and the love for the arts - but might need additional resources in order to attend great local or national programs. FTF also hosts its own affordable, yet truly excellent, programs whenever we can. We know a child's light truly shines brightest when nothing is holding them back.

The curtain will rise in late 2024 on plans for quality masterclasses, workshops, & summer camps at various levels,
with a special emphasis on creating affordable, accessible opportunities
for ALL kids in our area to hone their skills and find a place to belong in the Arts.
FTF also has a vision for a "Young Artists Fellowship Program"
giving college-age students from Middle Tennessee with an aim toward careers in Theatre Arts
a chance to work as sponsored Fellows, learning on the job alongside seasoned professional actors,
directors, and technical theatre artists.
We hope to provide a thriving, hands-on training ground for the future of theatre in the South.
